| How does it work? |
| To put it simply, you send me your song as a mp3
or WAV file, I'll play some Hammond B3 tracks that works with your music and send them to you
as dry WAV files with no FX or processing. You mix them into your song as you see fit. |
| How do we connect? |
| I work with two services,
Airgigs and
Soundbetter. They both work well but I find Airgigs is more user friendly.
You can sign up with either one for free and hire me directly, and we'll communicate back and forth on their platform. |
| How do we exchange files? |
| I use Dropbox but just about any file sharing service
will work and both Airgigs and Soundbetter have file sharing too. |
| What if I'm not happy? |
| I guarantee my work, period. If you're not happy, I'll refund your money, no questions asked but I have over 135 positive reviews so
I guess that says I usually find a way to satisfy my clients needs. |
| Who owns the work? Do I owe you royalties? |
| This is a "work for hire" relationship. You own the work 100% and there are no
royalties or any other back end payments. |
| What kind of music do you play? |
| My wheelhouse is Ole Time Rock and Roll but I play blues, more modern rock, R
& B, country and country pop... most anything. Not very strong
in Jazz, and reggae and I don't get along very well. I don't read sheet music so anything classical probably won't work.
But let me hear your song. If I don't think I'm a good fit, I'll tell you
straight up. No sense wasting your time. |
| How much does it does it cost? |
| My normal rate is $84.00 and that includes revisions if needed. If the song is really complex or over 5 minutes, we may need to discuss it but we'll agree on the price so there won't be any surprises. |
